This is a thick stranded antiqued gold thread that is about 1/16" thick. It can be couched around as an edging, or stranded to use as accents or embroidered with. Sold as 1 meter length. Left from the Memorial Keep project
As a teacher you often end up with extras of colors to make sure there aren't problems in kitting. Well that pile has built up and I need to find the silks another home as I haven't been teaching some of these projects for awhile.
These colors are limited, some are in the Cabinet of Curiosities collection, some just coordinate well with them. I am selling them at 25% off to you to make room for the caskets I need to store!
This is a collection of three tubes of faux gold threads for gold work. There is a 15 meter tube of #371 Gold Wyre (thread), a tube of #340 Gold Thread and #345 Silver Thread. The #340 and #345 is about the thickness of a soie d'alger strand and #371 is as thick as soie perlee. You can work background gobelin stitches in the thinner thread and the thicker does nice stitches like plaited braid. Sold one tube of each together at a 25% discount (overstock from teaching kits).
The example embroidery shows both these threads on them.
